From memory… we sold 448 x 6-packs of the 2021 Yalumba Samuel’s Collection Barossa Shiraz that beat an array of Prestige $150+ Aussie Shiraz enroute to scoring a whopping 98/100 in Winestate. Two x 224 x 6-pack shipments… both sold out the same day they were offered. This new 2022 release has already amassed 5 Stars, Gold Medal plus 92-92-94-95/100 ratings. Not quite the lofty 98/100 of the 2021… but another seriously GOOD, superbly made Shiraz at a wonderfully accessible price. Yalumba is one of the stalwarts of Australia, classically Barossa Shiraz in all its glory. This 2022 Samuel’s Collection Barossa Shiraz is a true blockbuster. Representing great quality and exceptional value… it’s the 6 generations of ownership that allow the Hill-Smiths to continue their 175-year domination of the South Australian wine scene. This is an elegant, flavoursome, and beautifully balanced Shiraz made in a very approachable style. Enjoy by itself, with BBQ’d meats or a cheeky curry… it’s so enjoyable whichever way you choose.

Black & Red berries, hazelnut, toffee, clove and spice aromas draw you into the glass.
Tastes
Concentrated with a plush array of blackberry, plum and blackcurrant fruits laced with chocolate and spice oak charm. Fine chalky tannins embrace the juicy palate and guide it to a silky-smooth luscious finish. Enjoy upon release or up to 10 years from vintage and best served at 17-18 degrees.
