The grapes were carefully selected from diverse vineyards, a mix of both cool and warmer climates to create complexity and layers of flavour. The 2022 vintage was ideal for producing high-quality wines, the vineyard temperatures were consistent, warm days and cool nights, preserving the purity of fruit and acid freshness. Uniform fruit ripening gave a long hang time, intensifying aromas & flavours. This is an impressive tasting, impressively affordable Californian Chardonnay with perfect oak & buttery lees influence. It will drink through 2026+… but no need to wait, its utterly delicious now.

Seductive aromas of ripe Golden Queen peaches, nectarines, roasted hazelnuts and cashews with a smoky, vanilla pod layering and a dash of butter.

Big, rich, creamy, buttery, Californian Chardonnay, it finishes with a moreish freshness due to its fine acidity. Flavours of golden peach, nectarine, creamed butter with a freshening tinge of lemon juice… if you were cooking a like flavoured dessert, you’d lick the spoon, yum.
