Description
From the excellent 2021 vintage this richly flavoured, 100% barrel fermented and aged Chardonnay hails from a well-known, generational winery. Its quality barrel fermentation and buttery, toasty Californian like palate is obvious from the first sip, rising 4-years old it’s at its peak drinking.
Smells
Ripe peach, nectarine and pineapple infused with toasty oak, almonds, subtle marzipan, vanilla and butter.
Tastes
Generous, rich, buttery and creamy Chardonnay layered with Golden Peach, nectarine and pineapple. Lots of toasty oak, nutty flavours, vanilla cream and butterscotch. From the excellent 2021 vintage its rising 4-years old, at its peak and ready to enjoy now through 2025/6.
