If you are a big fan of Californian Chardonnay, look no further than this new… “The Wines of Francis Coppola” range exclusive to Fine Wine Delivery Co. Made primarily for restaurants… this Chardonnay is classic Californian with a fresher, softer finish to all those rich, toasty, caramel, brioche and butter flavours. Beautifully ripe fruit with toasted coconut and vanilla oak adding charm… it’s very moreish! It will age through 2027… but it’s butterylicious right now!
Smells
Fresh aromas of ripe peach, pineapple and citrus with toasted brioche and caramel butter.
Tastes
Cooler climate vineyards have delivered layered fruit flavours of peach, pineapple, mango and lemon zest. The ripe, fresh fruit is nicely contrasted and complimented by the creamy caramel butter-tinged mid-palate with vanilla and coconut toasty oak. The finish is long with a lively, rounded acid thread. Drinking well now through 2026, match with quiche, salads and cheese… and it’s butterylicious on its own. The recommended serving temperature is 10-13 degrees."
