With generous use of oak and lots of creamy, biscuity lees stirring and barrel fermentation, it's filled with delicious flavours of custard, sizzled almond butter, vanilla, hazelnut. It's one of our favourite KIWI Chardonnays to recommend to the buttery lover… and it takes on super-duper status at our temporary CLEARANCE price of $19.99!
Smells
An aromatic seduction with freshly buttered toast, ripe stone fruit, toasty vanilla oak and hints of beeswax.
Tastes
There is a wonderful balance and harmony of fruit with the crystalline acid thread and integrated oak, seductively laced with lees and oak notes of nougat and roasted nut. Richly fruited, buttery and toasty, but not over the top. Drinking well now through 2027 - match with vegetarian dishes, poultry, and white meats.
