Gewurztraminer is one of the classic varieties from Alsace and is intensely perfumed and aromatic. Rarely do producers achieve balance and poise, having said that, Falconhead Gew is a winner, especially considering its very low price tag. It captures the essence of the variety and offers wonderful drinking. Give it a whirl with a ripe cheese selection, goat’s cheese salad or even chicken dishes.
Smells
This wine has classic Gewürztraminer aromas of rosewater, lychees, and pear with cinnamon spice.
Tastes
