Fruity and luxurious! Another variety from the incognito range that has failed to disappoint.

appealing looks and aroma, punchy stone fruit and sherbert like citrus explosion and persistant length

29th July 2024 | craig ramsay

Pale gold in the glass, with hints of stone fruit on the nose. The wine arrives on the palate in a rush - complex flavours of nectarine, apricot, developing into a well balanced acidity with a long enjoyable finish. Hugely drinkable and enjoyable on its own or with food.

A relatively unknown wine that really drinks exceptionally well with lighter meats, seafoods etc. Great summer lunch wine but anytime is Alberino time.

28th July 2024 | Alan Sadler

This Albariño is my new fave white. It takes the best characteristics from both Sav Blanc and Pinot Gris to offer an amazing blend that sits in the middle. Crisp, honeysuckle flavours and some added body / minerality. A delicious drop! Give it a try.

28th July 2024 | Ben Jenner-leuthart

New to the grape variety. Enjoyed the fresh fruit flavours and acidity. Impressive value for money at this price.

This Albariño has style, elegance and structure. Sumptuous lime and fruits followed by pleasing acidity with a long finish. What’s not to love? A wine fit to grace any dinner table.

The Albarino is delicious and I'm finding it a pleasant change from my usual chardonnay

27th July 2024 | Doug Low

Mrs C says she will only drink SB, you should see her enjoy this! Thanks Jeff for getting us to try it last Saturday & thanks Virginia for the delicious cheese scone! Great drinking and what a price.

The full Albarino journey white nectarine limes & lemons finishing with a taste of the ocean

27th July 2024 | Grant

Decent enough, quite light. Doesn’t hold up to European Albariño standards but for the price, it’s a good drinker

27th July 2024 | Maff

Albariño purchase brought us Happy memories of our recent time in Spain and was also very popular with friends.

26th July 2024 | Anne Golding

This is the first time I have bought wine from this grape. I was brown away with its enticing bouquet and zingy freshness. Very moreish and brilliant value.

26th July 2024 | Michael Cuncannon

Delicious, fruity and an absolute steal. My first Albarino, and if all Albarino is like this, consider me a fan

26th July 2024 | Mitchell S

Love this wine, gorgeous colour, full bodied taste and excellent wine. Will purchase again (...and again) if available.

26th July 2024 | Raewyn Judd

I was at first surprised to find how dry the wine was but then realised I had left in the fridge too long. Slightly chilled it had far more body/substance and was more luscious. Wonderful with fish and some vegetarian meals. It makes a wonderful addition to my cupboard but DO NOT OVERCHILL. I’ll keep purchasing this very often.

26th July 2024 | Roy Carroll

Zesty and lively goes well with sunshine, rain, beach, forest or fire - and tastes good!

26th July 2024 | Keith

Reisling will worried

26th July 2024 | wayne plummer

This Incognito 2023 Albariño is delicious. It is eminently drinkable; a quality well rounded wine with a delicate citrus finish. And at this price it’s a bargain that you can enjoy any time.

26th July 2024 | Daniel Lund

More powerful than a Pinot Gris and more interesting than an unoaked Chardonnay - worth a try for something different - cheers

26th July 2024 | Rex Sellar

If you like a crisp dry white wine similar to some pinot gris or hawkes bay savvy b, then this is for you sorry cannot be more specific as it is all gone. Rated 5 particularly at this price point

26th July 2024 | Graham Guy

Absolutely delicious ! Full of fruit and flavour . Wish I had bought more .

26th July 2024 | Ali Hackett

Well balanced crisp dry wine, mid weight with definite notes of lime and peach or perhaps nectarine. A reminder of summer, but right now great with your Friday night fish and chips. Excellent buying at the price.

26th July 2024 | John Lockhart

We first came across the Albariño grape when travelling in Spain a number of years ago. Since then New Zealand is discovering what a versatile wine this is. The Incognito Albariño is a wonderful example at an incredibly good price. I would suggest that Sav drinkers wanting something a little bit different should try a bottle or three. For one thing it pairs better with more variety of foods. Gorgeous aroma and a delightfully long, lingering finish. “Do try it”.

26th July 2024 | Ian Partridge

Not sure you want to tell your friends because it might all disappear, just such value for money for a simple yet delicious wine.

26th July 2024 | Richard

Excellent Albariño and great value. Have ordered twice and will order again.

26th July 2024 | David Harris

26th July 2024 | John Covich

beautiful wine great taste, friends loved it.

26th July 2024 | mark woodyard

Tasted at the bench - instant purchase. Not a grape variety normally drunk, but now on the list. Beautifully crafted and tasty wine.

26th July 2024 | Bill Hollins

Lovely example. Great density. Almost as good as Terrace Edge Albarino - my benchmark.

26th July 2024 | Niall Holland

Delicious wine, fresh and fruity. Difficult not to drink it all now!

26th July 2024 | Pete

Converted me to Albarino at first slurp. Wow what body and texture and pure deliciousness already, but will try not to drink it all right away as it's gong to get better. Crazy good value for money.
