The Classic is an off-dry bottling from this venerable house, this vintage showing off the concentration and quality of the vintage.
Smells
An intriguing kiss of biscuit with pear, apple, ginger, grapefruit, and lanolin.
Tastes
A very complex palate, showing bright, ripe tropical fruit notes of passionfruit and sweet lemon, balanced by amazing savoury notes which makes this wine a compelling release indeed, one of the best for several years, highlighting the class of 2022. Delicious and rich, this builds on the long finish and partners well with roast poultry or crispy pork belly. Simply delicious now and drinking well for the next 6-8years+
