Nivarius, is made from Tempranillo Blanco, a variety that was near extinction. Thanks to the Palacios team's care and dedication, this indigenous grape variety of Rioja is being made into wine again. Smells
rich, warm aromas of hazelnuts, almonds, marzipan, and Golden Queen peaches with hints of vanilla and spice.
Tastes
the rich, creamy, oily, mid-palate weight and texture are striking, adding an unctuous quality to the wine, and making it irresistible. The wine has a voluminous nature finishing with a fine, piquant, Gin & Tonic like finish, all balanced by the peaches and cream flavours and the saline, salty acidity. Superb drinking now through 2027 with your favourite white meats.
