The fruit was sourced from two meticulously managed blocks in Bridge Pa, Hawke's Bay, where the 2024 vintage delivered perfectly balanced fruit with vibrant acidity and aromatic intensity. The winemaking process reflects the utmost care and precision. Only the purest free-run juice was gently pressed, clarified, and fermented at cool temperatures with a yeast strain chosen to enhance the tropical and citrus fruit profile. Aging on fermentation lees has built a luxurious mid-palate texture, complementing the crisp, natural acidity of Albariño. This wine embodies the promise of Albariño as New Zealand’s rising star, showcasing how well the variety adapts to the region’s terroir. The intensely fresh and juicy palate is layered with concentrated peach and mixed citrus fruits, the saline edge creates a mouthwatering finish. Classic Albariño, in fact much better than most the Fine Wine team have tasted from Spain, the home of this luscious grape variety. Drinking well now through 2028, and will marry well with cheese, roasted white meats or fresh summer salads. The recommended serving temperature is 8-10 degrees.
