A delightful bouquet of ripe quince, manuka honey, ripe pears, jasmine and honeysuckle.
Tastes
A delicious example of Pinot Gris, rich and round with flavours of ripe fruits, lemon zest, cream of soda, nectarine, and peach. There is a fine, creamy mid-palate, ultimately satisfying and with a very long grapefruit finish. A classic example of a rich Pinot Gris made in a riper, oily, and textural style from Waipara. Delicious drinking now and over the next 2-3 years. Serve with roasted chicken or crispy pork belly.
