Description

Coming from their younger Pinot Gris vineyards (9 – 24 years of age), this 2024 Te Tera Pinot Gris showcases Martinborough Vineyard’s amazing depth of quality while being amazingly affordable. The grapes were left to hang late into the season, concentrating the aromas and flavours. They were then picked, destemmed and given three hours of skin contact for the wine to gain extra weight and richness. It was fermented in stainless steel to give the wine freshness while still retaining texture and body.

Smells

A vibrant nose, laden with nashi pear, white nectarine and red apple with hints of spice and white flowers.

Tastes

A rich, ripe palate of pears, quince and spice keeps you returning for another sip. Texture and structure is remarkable, and a touch of sweetness (4g/l RS) balances the finish perfectly. Enjoy now or through to 2028 with salmon dishes or feta filled salads.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
