Opawa is a great value offshoot to Nautilus Estate, winemaker Clive Jones offers excellent value wines in a crisp, honest style. This 2023 Pinot Gris is bursting with flavour and texture, an exemplary Marlborough style that's perfect with a Marlborough seafood selection.
Smells
Perfumed tropical fruit with guava, ripe pears, prince melon and hints of lemon zest.
Tastes
Juicy and mouth-watering with the perfect balance of fruit and acid, with a finish that is classy and refreshing with hints of orange marmalade and citrus peel, calling to mind Vietnamese cuisine. Drinking superbly now through 2026.
