Description

Always leading by example in pressing Central Otago wines to new frontiers, this 2023 Single Vineyard Pinot Gris explores the savoury nuances created by extended 10 months aging on lees. Bone dry but very rich, it's a highly complex wine that will be great with food.
Smells
Savoury, bready, dried herb notes, with subtle florals, nutmeg, creamy nuances and with a touch of gun smoke.
Tastes
Layered and lightly creamy, the palate is dry with flinty, savoury notes flooding the long finish. Spicy and seriously complex, this wine will be amazing with a number of cuisines, including anything middle eastern. Drink between now and 2026. The recommended serving temperature is 7-10 degrees.
