The first 2024 wine to grace the Fine Wine tasting table, it hints at a stellar vintage and that many top wines will follow. The Voysey Pinot Gris has been awarded five stars for the past four vintages, we think it is a sign and this 2024 will top them all.
Smells
A hint of nectarine, with peach, pear and apple, a lick of spice rounding the aromas off nicely.
Tastes
Rounded and sweetly fruited, it's a vibrant and youthful wine, an infusion of nectarine juice and spices carrying the silky finish. Incredibly textural with a soft mouthfeel, this is very easy to drink and very hard to put down. The Spade Oak Voysey Pinot Gris 2024 is once again of exceptional value. Drinking superbly now through 2027 and will partner with cheese, summer salads, white meats or even simply by itself with friends. For optimal drinking pleasure the recommended serving temperature is 7-10 degrees.
