Fromm's Spatlese Riesling offers a truly world class experience at a very driver-friendly alcohol level of only 7.0%! Made with significant residual sugar in a medium style. Lavish, it's very versatile and can cellar for a decade or more if you want a little wafting of honeycomb and kerosene atop your fruit! A superb summer lunch wine, and an even better wine for the connoisseur willing to cellar this for up to ten years.
Smells
Delicious green apple and lime, with honey on the side. Just a touch of a steely minerality to it with a smoky, gunflint twist, gently alluring.
Tastes
Sherbet and apple marmalade is so prevalent across the tongue and palate - but cascades away into layers of mandarin, white peach and honeycomb with an intensely long, drying finish. Captivating, crystalline acid drive that refreshes and lingers delivering ultimate satisfaction. Perfect by itself or serve with a mature Brie that is oozing; the fat and acid combination will blow your mind and your taste buds.
