Description
Another scintillating Dry Riesling by specialty producer Neudorf, the pre-eminence of the Moutere clay gravels should not be underestimated… gorgeously dry with a purity of flavour and texture rarely seen. This bone dry, textural, and well-weighted Riesling is made from grapes grown on a dry-farmed organic single vineyard, wild fermented and bottled unfined – you’d be hard-pressed to find a more natural wine. Enjoy with Asian-style dishes upon release and through to 2027 and beyond.
Smells
Jasmine florals, mandarin, lime, and herbs.
Tastes
Unbelievably clean and pure with acidity to burn, the mouth salivates with each sip as the fine, chalky mouthfeel adds interest and structure. Enjoy it in its vivacious youth or cellar for complexity - this is one of the great dry Rieslings ever made in NZ. Make sure you secure some of the limited production for yourself. The recommended serving temperature is 6-8 degrees.
