Description

Yet another classic Riesling from Pegasus Bay showing all the hallmarks of this brand, a distinctive bouquet with hints of botrytis adding complexity with the same weight and palate intensity that we have all come to know and love. A wine to drink with glee when young, it ages very well as we have seen many times over the years, its medium level of sweetness developing into a honeyed masterpiece over the course of a decade or more.

Smells

A beautifully pure nose of mandarin, lime marmalade, honeycomb, manuka honey, warm pie dough, lanolin and jasmine.

Tastes

Unctuous and medium sweet with a searing citrus hit of acid freshness balancing out the palate, the grippy texture provides textural intrigue, finishing pithy and long with hints of lime and mandarin. Great with fresh tuna, it's also very versatile with lightly spiced Asian food. Drink young or enjoy through to 2030+. The recommended serving temperature is 6-8 degrees.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
