Palliser Estate Sauvignon Blanc has been a perennial award winner for over 3+ decades. The vines are fully mature, now genuinely old vines! 2024 was a spectacular vintage therefore not just cementing the usual high quality we are used to and expect from Palliser... but surpassing that! It’s generously fruited with intense tropical notes, luscious texture, perfectly balanced acidity, and a pure long finish. Simply a fabulous glass of Sauvignon Blanc!
Smells
Concentrated aromas of passionfruit, tropical and white stone fruits and underlying sweet herbs.
Tastes
The palate is luscious and layered with ripe tropical and stone fruits, 6-months of ageing on lees has brought great texture and endearing richness to the mid-palate, which is very generous. A very rich, rounded, and salivating Sauvignon Blanc with a mineral freshness that carries all those luscious, concentrated flavours to a salivating finish. Lovely by itself and perfect with salmon/shellfish through 2027. The recommended serving temperature is 6-8 degrees.
