Description
The cool, dry climate of the Awatere Valley is renowned for producing bold, intensely flavoured Sauvignon Blanc, and Tohu’s vineyards in this unique terroir are nothing short of exceptional. Known for its vibrant personality and distinctive character, Tohu Sauvignon Blanc has become a star at wine shows, winning over judges and enthusiasts alike. When the 2023 vintage was released, it was a showstopper, earning rave reviews and accolades. The 2024 vintage? Even better. Bursting with concentrated flavour and impeccable balance, it’s poised to outshine its predecessor. Don’t wait—this wine is sure to fly off the shelves!
Smells
punchy and vivid aromas of blackcurrant bud, passionflower, grapefruit, dried herbs, kiwifruit, and a dash of lemon zest.
Tastes
Crisp and intense on the palate, with a delicate balance of fleshy tropical fruit and refreshing acidity. Detailed and textured, the wine builds to a mouth-watering crescendo filled with crisp green apple. Great summer drinking, it will be right at home with Thai food (especially those dishes with a little sweet basil in them). Enjoy now and through 2026. The recommended serving temperature is 6-8 degrees.
