Description

This Two Rivers is a window to the excitement looming with 2024 wines. Crafted by the Grand High Priest of Marlborough Sauvignon, Dave Clouston… it’s up there with the ‘Best of the Best’. If you hang around wine long enough, you'll hear someone try to tell you that all Marlborough Sauvignon basically tastes the same. Please keep a bottle of Two Rivers Convergence Sauvignon Blanc 2024 on hand for such an occasion. A gloriously serious wine, the aromatics are a devastating perfume of such complexity and gravitas that your average supermarket Sauvignon drinker would scarcely recognise this as the same thing. Mercifully, it's very well priced too. Yet to go before the critics and wine shows where we predict it will excel! Hence our impressive 96/100 rating… we rarely go that high with Sauvignon. Get your case before word gets out!

Smells

Amazingly pure and sophisticated bouquet of kiwifruit, white chocolate, elderflower and citrus zest with a playful addition of grapefruit and flinty, burnt match notes.

Tastes

Beautifully detailed and elegant in the mouth, with red and green apples making an appearance as well as an array of guava, passionfruit and melon. A wine of volume, power and poise, it's simply a stunning Marlborough Sauvignon that will make a believer out of anyone. Enjoy with fresh seafood between now and 2026.

We taste, rate & guarantee every wine we sell.
