Crossroads Winery was founded in 1987 with aim of producing the best possible wine from the famed Hawke’s Bay. The Jewel in their crown is the Talisman red blend first released in 1994 – this is a secret blend known only by the winemaker which regularly takes out international trophies. The rest of their range is fleshed out with Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet. In 2011 the Yealands Wine Group purchased the Crossroads winery and brands.
