Huia Vineyards

Claire and Mike Allan planted their first vines in Marlborough back in 1994. They settled in the region in 1990 gaining valuable experience with wineries like Cloudy Bay, Vavasour, Corbans & Lawson’s Dry Hills. They had previously worked making wine for Taittinger and Veuve Clicquot. This old world experience in particular, gave them a great appreciation for the land & was the driving force behind their decision to go Organic.
