Aged for 24 months in seasoned American and French puncheons, this is a true cellar-worthy wine, with 10–15 years of aging allowing it to fully evolve and develop complex secondary characteristics. Smells
A whiff of mint dark chocolate, dusty cocoa, liquorice, and blackberry.
Tastes
Chocolate, after-dinner mints, blackberry, and attractive earthy notes spill over into a long finish with fine, cocoa-flecked tannins. A classic Aussie style that will partner well with roasted lamb or venison. The recommended serving temperature is 16-18 degrees.
